At FTLOP Ragdolls, we’re a small, in-home hobby breeder specializing in the traditional beauty and calm temperament of the Ragdoll breed. We raise a limited number of litters per year, and each kitten is raised underfoot with our family- not in a kennel or outside cattery building.

Our beautiful Ragdoll kittens are ready to join their new families now! We offer complimentary delivery to Fargo, Minneapolis, St. Cloud, St. Paul, Fergus Falls, and surrounding areas. Johnny is a handsome seal bicolor Cherubim Ragdoll with a sweet expression, beautiful markings, and a soft, plush coat. He has the gentle, easygoing nature we love to see in our Ragdolls and is being raised in our home with lots of love and attention. Each prospective home is vetted individually, and we only move forward when we feel confident it’s a good fit for both you and the kitten. That means:
  1. We may decline applications that don’t align with our values or goals for the kitten.
  2. We will take the time to get to know you and answer your questions.
  3. We prioritize quality over speed- no rushed or sight-unseen placements. 

Our Process Is Personal

  1. Initial Inquiry: reach us through our contact us form and we will follow up with a text message or email to schedule a phone conversation. 
  2. Video Meeting (Required): Meet the kittens virtually and learn about their personalities.
  3. Reserve With Confidence: A deposit holds your place on our priority list, but no further funds are exchanged until we meet in person.
  4. Balance Due At Pickup: We collect the remaining payment only when the kitten is seen and approved by you.

Approved applicants who have paid their reservation fee are added to our priority list; Ragdoll kitten picking happens in order of said list when the Ragdoll kittens are around 6 weeks old. Repeat customers are always on our priority list; we love it when our Ragdoll kittens get a new companion! We are extremely discerning when adding a cat to our breeding program. Diversity of bloodlines helps us to ensure that we are creating the healthiest purebred Ragdoll cats possible. We also place a high value on the quality of our breeding cats- in type and temperament- and we have found great success with imported Ragdolls meeting our standard. We have several cats imported from Poland and one sweet girl from China- it’s exciting!

No! All of our cats are TICA registered purebred Ragdolls. We breed Traditional Blue-eyed pointed Ragdolls, along with glorious Mink and Sepia lines which generally develop dreamy ocean blue aqua eyes or mesmerizing green eyes. All of our lines trace back to the lines of the original Ragdoll creator, Ann Baker.  

Yes, they do all shed, but frequent brushing at home can be enjoyable and relaxing for both cats AND their owners and helps keep the amount of shedding manageable. 

Generally speaking, Ragdolls are easy going, laid back cats with a desire to get along with all of their human and animal family members. The key to creating a pleasant relationship between your new Ragdoll kitten and your existing pet(s) and children is a slow and positive introduction period. We can help walk you through that, we are experts!

We have an optimal health guarantee that rivals any in the industry. We conduct extensive genetic testing on our breeding cats and only breed healthy and genetically sound adults. In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a kitten dies from genetic disease during the first three years of life, we will absolutely replace the kitten at the earliest possible opportunity. We will also offer a replacement for any kitten who dies from FIP. Our commitment to satisfied pet buyers is iron clad. Our full contract is shown in our “contract” tab for your review. We believe in transparency and integrity.

Ragdolls are extremely social creatures! Two is always better than one when it comes to the mental health of your new feline friend. We understand that the cost of getting two Ragdoll kittens at once might be prohibitive so we offer a discount for families who are buying two. We do this because we love our kittens and we love it when we know they are going home with a built in buddy!

FTLOP Ragdoll kittens are priced at around 4-6 weeks of age and price is based on rarity of color/pattern and type. The price for each kitten is listed with that kitten, and it varies from litter to litter. You may find Ragdoll cat breeders with lower prices, and you will certainly find some whose Ragdoll kittens cost more, but we are dedicated to a luxury pet experience at a reasonable price.
